Come join us on Thursday evenings at 5:30pm at our Casselton location for puppy classes. Classes consist of one orientation class that you need to attend without your puppy and 6 classes that you attend with your puppy.  Puppies will learn basic obedience skills, have socialization time with other puppies and people, and build a positive association with visiting the veterinary clinic.

Please call to make sure we have a spot available for you if you plan to attend.

Requirements:

  • Puppies must be under 5 months old to enroll in class. It is ideal to start class when your puppy is between 8 to 16 weeks.
  • All puppies will need to be current on wellness exam.
  • All puppies must have had their distemper/parvo vaccine and Bordetella vaccine at least 2 weeks prior to the first class they attend and remain up to date on vaccines to continue attending class.
  • Puppies must have a negative fecal or current dewormer prior to attending class.
  • Any puppies who are not feeling well should not come to class.
  • Any puppies who have recently had surgery are welcome at class but will not be able to participate in play time.

Other Things to Know:

  • Every puppy will receive a clicker and a packet of training information.
  • After an orientation class is attended, the remaining 6 classes are open enrollment and do not need to be attended consecutively.
  • Although it is open enrollment, all 6 classes must be used in a 3-month time frame.
  • Class cost is $85 and is not refundable (Please feel free to visit a class prior to enrolling if you are unsure if it would be a good fit for you)
  • Choker collars, prong collars, and flexy leashes are not permitted in class. Questions about this policy can be directed to Beth Perrault.

  • January 9th Thursday
  • February 4th Tuesday
  • March 3rd Tuesday
  • April 2nd Thursday

There will not be class on the following dates:

  • December 24th, 26th, or 31st
  • March 17th
  • April 9th
  • April 14th
