Radiology – or X-rays – help our veterinarians evaluate muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular (cardiopulmonary), gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary systems. We can use contrast studies to determine if an object is obstructing your pet’s GI system, or if your pet has a problem with it’s urinary system.
Casselton Veterinary Service, Inc. is excited to announce the arrival of state-of-the-art Digital X-rays to our veterinary facility.
Just as digital cameras have made photography easier and more efficient by eliminating film, Digital Radiography (DR) systems provide the veterinarian with a radiographic image that can be viewed immediately on a high-resolution monitor without the need for film development. DR systems also offer sophisticated image processing tools, giving the veterinarian much greater depth of information that can be enlarged or manipulated for far better detail, resulting in closer scrutiny of potential areas of concern.
Digital X-rays will better help us, help you. We will now be able to visualize higher quality, detailed images that will help further enhance our diagnosis and treatment of your pet.
