What to expect when you visit Casselton Veterinary Service

As a new client here at Casselton Veterinary Service, you can expect the highest degree of customer service for you and your pet(s).  When you arrive to our spacious facility, you will be greeted by one of our friendly receptionists.  You will be asked to fill out forms and have your pet weighed.  Once your pet is checked-in, you can help yourself to some coffee, hot-chocolate, cappuccino, or explore our variety of pet products in our retail area, while you wait to be to seen in an exam room.

Once your exam room is ready, a caring technician or assistant will escort you and your pet(s) into one of our eleven exam rooms.  There, the technician will go over any health concerns you may be having for you pet, as well as gather any medical information that you may have.  When all information has been collected, one of our doctors will then perform a thorough examination on your pet.  Our wellness exams include our doctors checking your pet(s) heart, lungs, ears, examine for any lumps or masses, and a dental grading.

If your pet is being seen for more extensive services, you can expect your pet(s) to have one or more of the following services: digital x-rays, blood panels, or an ultrasound.  Based on the findings of your pet(s) exam, additional medical treatments may be needed, and your doctor and technician will then review any treatments or medication that may be necessary, as well as answer any questions that you may have.

Once your appointment is completed, one of the friendly receptionists will then process your invoice, and schedule any follow-up appointments that may be needed.

If you are unable to attend your appointment on time, we kindly request that you give us a call to let us know as soon as possible. This allows us to adjust our schedule accordingly and accommodate any potential emergencies that may arise.

If you are more than 10 minutes late for your scheduled appointment, we may need to reschedule your appointment to a later date or time to ensure that our veterinarians are able to provide the necessary care to all of our patients. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can occur, and we will do our best to accommodate any necessary changes to your appointment.
